Sliding into Smiles
Just steps outside of the fluorescent lights and endless booths in the Las Vegas Convention Center, Google built a different kind of CES experience for the hundreds of thousands of tech fans, innovators, and early adopters at this year’s electronics conference. Inside the two story experience, visitors found new toys — both hardware and software — that integrated with the Google Assistant platform.
From connected cars and TVs, down to video game controllers and coffee machines, the lower level showcased all of the ways Google Assistant can make your life easier. Upstairs, guests experienced a real world demo of the platform, and then — because it’s Google — guests could slide down one of 4 brightly colored 30 foot slides into an enormous ball pit. After exiting the ball pit, guests were immediately greeted with a high frame rate burst video of their experience, shared directly to their Google Photos account.
In a convention full of throwaway branded swag and tote bags, Smilebooth was happy to provide lasting and sharable memories for over 3000 guests.

GIPHY sticker activation
Facebook Gaming gave Blizzcon guests a chance to turn their Smilebooth GIF into a useable sticker through the powers of GIPHY! Using custom Smilebooth technology we delivered shareable GIFs in real time while simultaneously uploading to the Facebook Gaming channel on Giphy. How cool is having a sticker version of yourself? Pretty cool.

Jimmy Marble's book release party was one of those events that came with so much color, fun, and joy you wish you could experience over and over and over again! From shag inspired cakes and perfectly pinned corsages, Dream Baby Dream was celebrated in full style. Smilebooth captured prom pics + created custom giphy stickers useable on Instagram stories! Outdoor movie nights are our favorite summer night activity! Netflix sponsored this year's Bryant Park Movie Nights in NYC, with movies ranging from Anchorman, Coming to America, and Carrie. Each night Netflix surprised audiences with a trailer for an upcoming movie, and Smilebooth got to place users inside three special titles. For To All The Boys I Loved Before 2, we used a greenscreen backdrop to place movie goers inside Lara Jean's iconic bedroom. For Sextuplets we kept it clean with a colored backdrop + GIF to match the branding of the title. Finally, we got wild with the preview of In Between Two Ferns! We duplicated the iconic set for users to sit in with Zach Galifinakis in a digital overlay. Working with the writers of Funny or Die, the Smilebooth team developed a custom code which assigned users a random subtitle along with their typo-ed name. Each activation was branded perfectly for each unique title. We loved working with the creative teams of Netflix and look forward to the next!
From Barbie to Diddy, Smilebooth made lots of friends this July! We introduced Barbie at her Dreamhouse at VidCon with an animated greenscreen. We celebrated YBN Cordae's highly anticipated first full length album. We also partied at Sound & Fury, and with the wedding babes of Tassels and Tastemakers! Putting a Spin on the "Typical" Photobooth Setup
We're taking the standard printed backdrop for a SPIN! Out East Real Estate wanted a customized booth that helped guests feel like they're were cruising down the streets of the Hamptons, without the peddling. We built a custom rotating backdrop that kept the scene moving for playful GIFs and a dynamic onsite experience.

In June, we activated across the country for Pride Month 2019. From Los Angeles to New York City, Smilebooth was at the center of all the action, capturing all the love! This year marked the 50th anniversery of StoneWall, we are honored to be a part of NYC's World Pride Day, the highest attended Pride in history.

Smilebooth tagged along to shoot professional headshots of any and all guests who sat down to get pampered at the nearby Beauty Bar (only after they had the chance to spruce up their resume with on-site mentors)!
