What do you get when you combine the most popular music festival in the country with the best smartphone camera on the market? Lots of #selfie content, that’s what. We worked with the Google Pixel 2 team + small army of Pixel experts to create two custom-built activations for guests to discover around the festival grounds. A reflective acrylic art installation created as a backdrop for guests to capture colorful, high quality selfies. Phones were also mounted into each bucket of the iconic Coachella ferris wheel for guests to capture breathtaking photos during some of their most memorable moments. Each activation used a custom app that allowed images to be instantly sharable as well as track statistics. Throughout two sun-soaked Coachella weekends, guests captured and shared over 15,000 photos.
